After healing process we will visit Mengening Temple. Mengening Temple is located in the village of Saraseda, Tampaksiring, Gianyar regency, Bali. The temple area is very cool with beautiful natural scenery surounding. This temple often used by local people to do "melukat" (perform self-cleaning with holy water) and a place to request tirtha (holy water for ceremonies for Hindus). Inside this area there is a pool for self-cleaning. This pool is divided into two, namely the pool of women’s baths and one separate pool for men.
These springs are natural sources of springs that have existed since the 11th century. The water in this bath pool is very cool and clear. To be able to bathe in this pool is expected to present the "canang" and incense before then take a bath and pray for the coolness given physically and spiritually.
This unique spiritual journey will guide you through a genuine purification healing ritual with a Balinese priest who will help explain this deeply symbolic experience and prepare the necessary offerings and seek a blessing for you. After we have finished doing part of the healing process, we will continue to enjoy your lunch at a restaurant not far from the purification place, after that we will go to the place and process of the civet coffee which is currently popular.
And our next destination is to the ancient Umah Bali Kuno, this is a house building in ancient times that was built based on the concept of asta kosala kosali Bali, namely the way of arranging land for residences and sacred buildings according to the philosophical, ethical and ritual foundations by paying attention to the concept of the embodiment of land selection, auspicious days to build a house and the implementation of Yadnya.
The measurement of the building is also based on the anatomy of the homeowner's body. Like the soles of the feet, to determine the distance from one building to another. In addition, the basic building materials are also very traditional, namely utilizing clay which is formed into the basic material for walls to floors that use bamboo and dry straw roofs. Here you can see how people in ancient times carried out their activities, such as making daily offerings for Hindus.
