Package Description
This trip is early in the morning, head to the healing process place. At the healing place, you will go through several stages of the process, namely detecting your complaints through a little massage on your feet and body, then the process of asking for a gift from God with the final process, namely cleansing negative energy in the body through holy water called tirta which is guided directly by the healer.
From the healing place we will head to the purification place called Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu. Which is a waterfall that is sacred to the locals and is believed to have magical powers that can dissolve human waste. To go to this place there are several prohibitions for visiting Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu, namely for women who are menstruating and for those who are mourning are prohibited from entering the temple area and performing purification. In addition, it is advisable not to bring small children whose teeth have not fallen out to participate in the purification procession, because it is said that they will cry continuously. It is okay to bring small children if only to pray at the temple and not to participate in purification. On this temple there are several prayer processes and procedures for performing purification, which will be explained when we are already there.
After the purification procession, we will visit a temple close to the purification place, namely the Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. The name of the Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple comes from the words Gunung and Kawi which means made and Sebatu which refers to the name of the village where the temple is located. This temple can be visited by all Hindus in Bali. The ceremony at the temple is held on Purnamaning Sasih Kasa (once a year or every July). This temple has a unique architecture and has its own beauty. This temple consists of three main parts, namely Jaba Pura (outer courtyard), Jaba Tengah (middle courtyard), and Jeroan (inner courtyard). In the outer courtyard, there is a public bathing pool that is often used by local residents for bathing or soaking. The water in this pool is very clear and fresh because it comes from a natural spring. There is also a fish pond here containing various types and sizes of koi fish. These fish are sacred and may not be caught or eaten by anyone. In the middle courtyard, there are several sacred buildings such as meru (pagoda), bale (pavilion), and candi bentar (gate). Here there is also a statue of Lord Vishnu standing on a padma (lotus) with four hands holding his attributes. In the inner courtyard, there is the main building of the temple called gedong penataran. Here there are several stone temples made with beautiful and intricate carvings. These temples are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the ancestors of the Balinese kings. And this temple is also a place to store the ashes of King Anak Wungsu, one of the Balinese kings from the Warmadewa dynasty who ruled in the 11th century AD.
The next journey is to Pura Gunung Kawi / cliff temple. Tebing Gunung Kawi Temple was built since the mid-11th century AD, during the Udayana Warmadewa Dynasty. The remains found on this site are cliff temples and hermitage niches. There are ten Gunung Kawi cliff temples divided into three groups. Temple group five is located east of the Pakerisan River and temple group four is located west of the Pakerisan River. While one temple carving called the tenth temple is located several hundred meters downstream of temple group four in the Pura Bukit Gundul area. Tebing Gunung Kawi Temple is also one of the Hindu-Buddhist archaeological remains.
And the last journey is to return to the hotel where you are staying. Have a pleasant trip and always be in good health.
